Bridget Chinouriri is a Zimbabwean ethnomusicologist, creative writer, editor, cultural consultant and an Associate Professor and Deputy Dean in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Zimbabwe. She is a Senior Research Fellow and Adjunct Professor at the University of Venda (South Africa) in collaboration with Kabarak University (Kenya), in the Directorate of Research and Innovation. She holds a Masters in Music with the University of Ghana, Legon, Accra, Ghana and a DMUs with University of Pretoria, South Africa. Professor Chinouriri sits in a number of cultural Boards in Zimbabwe such as National Intangible Cultural Heritage of Zimbabwe, Zimbabwe College of Music, National Arts Council of Zimbabwe and others. She has 41 publications to her name which includes 3 books.
