Biography:

Takawira Mumvuma is a senior lecturer in the Department of Economics and Development, University of Zimbabwe, teaching Development Economics and Development Finance at both undergraduate and post graduate levels. He has authored and co-authored many book chapters, journal articles and manuals on issues of small enterprise development, local economic development, debt, institutions and growth, economic policy reforms, corruption, trade, horticulture sector skills strategy development, public service delivery as well as participatory budgeting and social accountability in Africa. He is a development economist who holds a BSc and an MSc in Economics from the University of Zimbabwe and a PhD in Development Studies from the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS), Erasmus University. The Netherlands.
