Biography:

Mr Hasani Simani is a versatile, hardworking, creative and conscientious individual with extensive knowledge in counselling psychology. He has an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Zimbabwe, and a Master’s in Counselling Psychology from Great Zimbabwe University. Prior to becoming temporary full-time lecturer at the University of Zimbabwe, Mr. Simani worked as an Intern counselling psychologist at Crisis support center at Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals. He has a wealth of practical experience in the following areas:
1. Counsel individuals, groups, families, or communities regarding issues including mental health, poverty, unemployment, substance abuse, physical abuse, rehabilitation, social adjustment, child care, or medical care.
2. Select, administer, and interpret psychological tests to assess intelligence, aptitudes, abilities, or interests
3. Identify psychological, emotional, or behavioral issues and diagnose disorders, using information obtained from interviews, tests, records, and reference materials.
Additionally, he plans to earn a PhD over the next 2 years, to become a noteworthy professional.
