Biography:

Mr Zimunya is a qualified Urban and Regional Planner by profession and a Corporate Member of the Zimbabwe Institute of Urban and Regional Planners. He is a Lecturer in the Department Demography Settlement and Development, Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences, University of Zimbabwe. He has also taught in the Rural and Urban Planning, and Urban Development at the University of Zimbabwe and Great Zimbabwe University. He was a recipient of the DAAD in-country scholarship. Further, and a doctoral student in Regional and Urban Planning at the University of the Free State, South Africa. In addition he has nineteen (19) years of professional planning practice experience in Rural and Urban Planning and Development fields in non-governmental, local and central government setups with concentration in land use plan preparation, development management, urban development projects, urban policy formulation and management, project planning and management as well planning administration.
