Biography:

Mr. Edward Muzondo is a Lecturer in the Department of Social Work with more than three years social work experience in training, research and lecturing. He obtained his Master of Social Work and Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Zimbabwe. His research interests lie within the field of Green Social Work, Social Development and Social Innovation. His PhD proposal examines the “Socio-Economic and Ecological impact of Artisanal and Small Scale Gold Mining in Zimbabwe”. He serves in several committees in the department such as the Research and Innovation Committee. Mr. Muzondo has a rich knowledge base in Clinical Social Work, Social Policy and Disability Affairs with a number of conference papers and consultancy work in the area of disability. Some of the activities has done include the ex-ante evaluation of Breaking down Barriers to Inclusive Education, debate on the Disability Bill and issues of accessibility among Persons with Disabilities.
