Academic Appointments:

Senior Lecturer

Research Interests:

Geospatial Health
Spatial statistics
Application of GIScience and Earth Observation
Climate change and vector-borne diseases

Faculty: Science
Department: Geography Geospatial Sciences and Earth Observation
Research Category: Geography and Environmental Science
Biography:

Dr Gwitira is a spatial epidemiologist with keen interest in understanding spatial patterns of both human and animal diseases and their relationship with environmental determinants.
