Biography:

Praise is a lecturer in the Department of Community and Social Development at the University of Zimbabwe. He is currently working on his PhD in Development Studies entitled ‘Gender and Socio-Ecological Resilience to Climate change: A transformative approach in selected post Fastback farms in Zvimba East District’ at the University of Pretoria. As a researcher he has worked on several projects as a fieldwork coordinator, co-researcher and lead researcher culminating several in book chapters and journal articles published to date. He has worked in several researches with both governmental and non-governmental organizations in Zimbabwe in various areas such as climate change, disaster management, waste management, SGBV amongst others. Praise has also served as a guest lecturer in affiliate colleges of the University of Zimbabwe such as the ZRP staff college. On an inter-faculty level, Praise has also collaborated with UZ/ECSDI on several research activities carried out by the institute.
