Biography:
I am a researcher with an interest in infectious diseases, non-communicable diseases, and traditional medicine. I have worked extensively in collaborative and multi-disciplinary research projects, from design through implementation and data analysis, and publication. I have over 70 publications in peer-reviewed journals. I also have contributed significantly to research and research management capacity building through leading and/or supporting the establishment of Research Support Centres at the University of Zimbabwe and other universities in East and Southern Africa, supervising and coordinating postgraduate students. I am a competent research administrator. As part of my research, I have acquired experience in fundraising for research, through the development of skills for grant writing, grant management and contract negotiation.
