Biography:

Ms Oripha Chimwara is a Lecturer in the Department of Governance and Public Management at the University of Zimbabwe. Her teaching specialisation includes; International Security, International Law and African politics. Her research focuses on migration and the related opportunities and challenges, gender, security and politics (women, peace and security, women and citizenship and women representation). Ms Chimwara has co-authored some book chapters and journal articles on these issues. She is a member of the Organisation for Social Science Research in Eastern and Southern Africa. Her DPHIL studies focuses on Youth participation in elections.
