Biography:
Associate Professor in the Department of Foreign languages and Literature. He is co-Director of the Confucius Institute at the University of Zimbabwe. He holds a Masters degree in teaching Chinese as a Second Language from Tianjin Normal University and a PhD in Chinese Linguistics and Applied Linguistics from Hebei University, China. His research interests include community development, translation, onomastics, Shona-Chinese comparative researches, Sino-Africa relations as well as teaching and learning of Chinese as a second language.
