Biography:

Ndlovu Eventhough holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Ndebele and a Master of Arts Degree in African Languages and Literature both from the University of Zimbabwe as well as a Doctoral Degree in Linguistics from the University of the Free State, South Africa. He is currently a Senior lecturer in the Department of African Languages and Literature at the University of Zimbabwe. He is also a Research Fellow in the Department of South African Sign Language and Deaf Studies, University of the Free State. His research interests are in Language Planning, Language Policy, Language Management, Language Rights, Lexicography, Translation, Interpreting and Editing. He has a substantial number of publications in the afore-mentioned areas and teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the said areas. He has also presented a number of papers in international conferences, symposiums, workshops and colloquiums.
